DESCRIPTION:All students at Taos Academy will complete the MAP assessment every year in both the fall and spring. \nMAP stands for Measures of Academic Progress and refers to a computer-adaptive NWEA MAP Growth assessment used in K-12 education to measure students’ achievement and academic growth in math\, reading\, language usage\, and science over time. \nThe test adapts in difficulty based on a student’s responses\, providing personalized information about their strengths and areas for growth\, which helps educators inform instruction and track progress.
