Calendar

Taos Academy is a small, innovative public charter school located in Taos, New Mexico. We serve students in grades 5 through 12 and operate as a nonprofit, tuition-free institution. Our academic calendar runs on a four-day week (Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), allowing us to focus on rigorous academics while supporting students’ personal growth and community involvement.

Taos Academy is a hybrid school, blending in-person attendance with distance learning. Students attend on-campus for enrichment, academic support, and social engagement, while completing up to 20 hours of coursework at home each week. Additionally, some students are enrolled in our Flex program, which allows them to complete their education entirely online.
