MAP Testing

All students at Taos Academy will complete the MAP assessment every year in both the fall and spring.

MAP stands for Measures of Academic Progress and refers to a computer-adaptive NWEA MAP Growth assessment used in K-12 education to measure students’ achievement and academic growth in math, reading, language usage, and science over time.

The test adapts in difficulty based on a student’s responses, providing personalized information about their strengths and areas for growth, which helps educators inform instruction and track progress.
