In New Mexico, teachers need to complete a Professional Development Dossier (PDD) and show growth over three years for continued licensure. Taos Academy provides about 10 days of professional development annually for teachers, principals, and support staff, potentially including collaboration and mentoring. This is in addition to the required attendance days for students.
